You can even get a mounting bracket (http://www.yawarra.com.au/product.php?productCode=AC-FPC2-VESA)and metal box (http://www.yawarra.com.au/product.php?productCode=AC-FPC2-SECENC)to protect it and make it easy to install.

So to a noob at Car PC's (who has never really considered it before), what are the features/advantages people are looking for when installing a Car PC?
I'm guessing the ability to have lots of music & DVD's on the Hard Drive or USB? Anything else?

the thing about them that has always appealed to me is the whole music, movies stored on the hard drive, plus the integrated GPS etc in a touch screen interface.

$380 odd plus $55 odd freight ebay ex USA, no hard drive, so no OS

$750 from a reseller in VIC :)

If thats all it is, my current headunit does exactly that. So why go to all the effort of a CarPC? Def looks good for people who want to go down that path though!
