Can anyone give me rough estimate on the power,my 3.5 would make with these mods?
And does any body have all of these?

Also u know anything about stall convertors and shift kits for the auto.That turbo magna in Adelaid supposedly had them installed.?

-K&N FILTER - pod or panel would b fine... not a huge difference between the 2
-EXTRACTORS - if you earn good money, go for the RPW ones
-LUKEY MUFFLER & HIGH FLOW CAT.
-RALLIART CAMS. - don't bother, they've been disgussed and they'd only b a 0.5 stage cam, go the RPW stage 1
-LARGER THROTTLE BODY.
-UNI-CHIP OR HALTECH. - with the mods u are planning, GReddy E-Magna all the way!

with these mods u should have 200hp atw, is you'res manual or auto?

my car is basically the same as yours asylum(slow) just a joke.
3.5 auto with k&n and lukey.
I really am serious about getting the Nos,as this will cain!! :P

You can get an EFI wet nos kit for around 900 these days, my 1st gen would probably fall apart if i put nos in and gave it a hit, although 35 a hp boost isnt to massive.. i rekon it'd be tough too, i could throw a big nos sticker on the car and not be lieing.

I dunno why anyone would go dry nos, it just busts your engine, although you cant use wet if your running an A/M ecu or have your timing advanced, i guess its time then to go to direct port :cool:

yeah id like to know about a shift kit aswell does anybody have any info about one for a magna?

zex's is cheaper isnt it and when u turn it on u dont have that button crap it just injects when heavily accerating i think

As a rough guide, kW at the fly wheel is approximately hp at the wheels.. so

200hp ATW = 200kW at the fly


for example my stock sports dynoed at 124kW ATW, which is 166hp ATW.. a sports is rated at 163kW at the fly so that's about spot on.

yeh couple of my mates have this, i should be getting this soon aswell, it has a switch to turn it on, but only works once full throttle has been engaged

I have read up on these systems, they are TPS triggered, but what I would really love to get if I had an n2o setup would be the system Mitsiman was talking about that you can press an in cabin button to automatically shut the supply off and disconect the hose conencted to the n2o cylinder if cops pull you over or whatever :badgrin:

i'm pretty sure you can have a bottle of happy gas empty or full in your car legally as long as its disconnected. feel free to prove me wrong though. dunno if its different in other states(i'm in qld)

i dont think the copper will give a **** if it's connected or not.

if it's not then the person will have to prove that it wasn't fucntioning or non functioning at the defect station.

I think it is illegal if is connected,I,ll have to get it certified by engineer too.

Gonna make some sort of magic box where I can disconnect in an instant.Then have screws on top so it looks like its always been shut......you get the idea.
