If you can get access to a rattle gun you will be laughing because it will cut the time it takes by about half. It took me about 2.5hrs to do it myself one night after work. Here is what you need to do.

Step 1: Take out strut by undoing the 3 bolts at the top and the two and the bottom at the front or one at the bottom on the back ones.

Step2: Put the strut in a vice if you have one and put on a set of spring compressors and tighten them up together so that the spring compresses evenly

Step3: Once the spring is loose you can undo the nut a the top of the shock absorber once you have done that pull the strut top of the top and you can slide the spring out.

Step4: You will have to undo the spring compressor of the std spring and put it on the loweed on and compress the spring like you did with the first one.

Step 5: Put the strut top back on and do up the nut on the top of the shock absorber

Step6: Undo the spring compressor and put the strut back into place.

Step 7: Put the 3 nuts back on the top loosly so that you can still move the strut around. The front is pretty east but the back on you have to put another jack under the shock absorber so that you can compress the spring and the lower mount go on.

Hope that is some help

Well I guess that all depends on just how low you went with the springs. :D I used Kings Low springs and while I could put the strut top on by just using my body weight I had to use a jack so that I could get the lower mount of the shock over the pin that it sits on.

Hey man- spot on with what i did cept for these changes:

1. on the front supension units don't forget to take the brake line clip off - or else you will rip out your brake lines!!! it is easy - the little square bit of metal just slides off with a little force - you will know when you see it!!

2. putting the rears back in - you should be able to just push the rea hub down enough to pop the bottom attachment back in without too many hassles - my rear drivers side i had issues - but i got a mate to stand on the hub while i lined up the bolts - easy!!

Have fun!!
