I'm not too sure how good it is. Anyone here can enlighten me?

How much would the whole set cost anyway?

Can I ask why ?

Eclipse is good gear but as far as I am aware they are entry level gear in the Ralliart like most factory sound systems.

Oh, I was wondering whether i should be getting the entire Ralliart Magna's Eclipse sound system from Ralliart-AKKO's wreck. Looks tempting but the price tag is a bit hefty. He's asking for $1300...

$1300? Rofl. The speakers are worth SFA. They're old basement model speakers. The headunit and stacker are the same. I'd offer him probably $200 for the lot.

LOL~~~ I did offered him $200 for starters as I didn't know how much to offer. Maybe it was a bit low, I offered him $400 and then $600 still no go. So I basically gave up.

So I was wondering, how good are they and how much are they actually be worth?

Truth be told, by todays speaker standards, they're nothing to write home about. That was one of the first things I replaced in my Ralliart. For $600 you could get 2 pairs of pretty decent Pioneer splits. For $1300 you could get 2 pairs of good Focals!

Ralliart-AKKO's sound system is not totally standard.

The in in dash CD Changer (Eclipse CH5061) and the Head Unit (Eclipse 8061) are stock Ralliart.
Not sure about the speakers but there are definitely parts there like the centre speaker, 5.1 system, subs and amps which are NOT stock Ralliart.

I wouldn't be comparing a stock Ralliart set up to what he has for sale.

Yeah, that's a bit different to the standard Ralliart gear man.

In this case, you need to make your mind up what you want. For everything that's there it's probably a good deal. I wouldn't personally buy it, and the headunit is pretty well useless if you have iPod/mp3s etc. But that's just me - I'd be buying my own separate system because I don't believe you need a sub with a good pair of amped splits. Again, that's just me.

pretty sure he said that NONE of the speakers were stock ralliart items when he was down trying to sell parts at our thurs night social. also whoever gets them needs to get the rear door trims cuz the speaker mounts in those are quite good too...

Well that makes sense with the price tag then. He should have said it wasn't stock. I kept thinking it was stock! LOL~~~

Mate if that came stock in the ralliarts then I think we'll all have ralliart systems in our cars lol
But yeah AKKO's system is way beyond standard, not a bad price actually

I have an old ralliart headunit that I was going to test out and sell for around the $250 mark. The sound quallity is quiet good and they fit the dash perfectly but they don't do mp3's. They do however have aux inputs that you can plug your ipod into.

i have a totally stock one, it has very clear sound that can go loud but the bass is a let down.

It would perform exceptionally well with a small sub and amp with the bass turned all the way down on the factory speakers.

The units do have sub control and outputs to run one

Guys the Eclipse 8061 is not the stock HU, the stock one is a 5441 or similar from memory.
The 8061 was the premium Eclipse deck for SQ of that era with 8v balanced outputs etc.

Not entirely useless, since it does have an auxiliary input for MP3 players and I've run my iPod this way since I've had the unit.

Sorry, they look the same.

So this system you have for sale just gets better. :D

Yeah i also had the same impression it was stock in the beginning. That was until I listed the items out to ask the members whether they are stock and was informed they weren't!

I stand corrected from that point onwards and understood why Ralliart-AKKO is asking for that price.
