Hey guys
I have a '99 KH Xi Verada and I need to replace the low beam bulb in the drivers side. I purchased a H7 low beam and then spent many hours trying to get the damned thing inserted properly.
I've checked the manual and the workshop manual, and they both say insert and twist to lock it in place - only problem being is that I can't get it to stay in place.
The headlamps are like this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/ac/2000_Mitsubishi_KH_Verada_Ei_sedan_01.jpg
I can get it sitting in the socket with the spring latch holding it in place but as soon as I even attempt to plug it in, it pops out of the socket.
For the life of me, I can't seem to get it locked in place and stable! I'm going to pull out the entire lamp assembly on the weekend if I can't sort it out before then.. Any suggestions? :)
Also, last week, all warning lights on the dash apart from Petrol (brake, traction control off, etc) are lit up constantly.. Fairly sure the traction control is still on though..
I don't think it's a specific documented warning signal but I'm happy to be proved wrong :) Any ideas?
Thanks guys!
