looking at buying a sports steering wheel from ebay.

the seller has a boss kit to suit the tp but they would like to know the spline diameter to confirm.

anyone no wat it is?

used to have a spline but tossed it
how fast can you take off your steering wheel nut
measure the splines diameter

lol iv never taken the wheel off before but im sure it wont take me that long

or do i need to take the wheel completely off? i cant quite figure out how to do that :nuts:

that metal piece has to come off to see the spline
that piece looks like the horn earthing ring

looks like the steering wheel has to come off for an acurate measurement

you might get lucky by tugging the steering wheel off
keep the nut on a few threads to stop hitting yourself in the head

or you need a puller tool (the type that is threaded )

you then need a piece of string to measure the spline
to get the diamenter you half the lenght of string
