Hi,

My 380 is due for its 150k service. Should I take it to Mitsu or my normal mechanic (who is good and does log book servicing)? Is there any advantage taking it to Mitsu or not? Cheers.

Also, some idiot hit my 380 in the carpark at work and need to get it repaired. Does anyone know a good place to take it to in SA? I have being reccomended to go to a place called Silvers but let me know if you know any good places.

Thanks =D

take it to wherever you are comfortable

I have a great relationship with my Mechanic that I will only go to him for servicing
However some guys will only have their car serviced by Mitsubishi

as for repairers drop a line to Maggie he may know??

i'd never get my car serviced from a dealer anymore..i'm not a fan of paying full tote and having some young 1st year apprentice work on my car, who has less mechanical knowledge than i do...thats what goes on alot.
if you can't do it yourself , use a trusted mechanic..

what area are you in ? i have a good friend of mine that is a champion in the paintless dent business. or if it needs a slight touch up, one of my best mates is in that business.

I have nothing but praise for my Mitsi dealer as well as my normal mechanic. Both excellent and trustworthy.
My GT is currently having a complete bonnet respray after some f#@** wit reversed into me with a tow bar on a ute. This needed more than a paintless dent removal job. $380 all up. Cant wait to get it back this evening.

:stoopid:

My service center has actually suggested ways and workshops to improve the performance. They recommended the exhaust shop where Foozr ended up getting his problematic mufflers sorted out. They recommended ChipTorque to me and also fitted my phenolic spacer correctly with two gaskets, not one.
They were also going to fit a S/C for one customer but I'm not sure what the result of that was.

One of the annoying issues I've had with other service places; getting a CEL because they've put their foot on the throttle while starting the engine :nuts:
