well as the title says, im wondering if you can cleanlly work a double din headunit into a 1992 tr exec.

i do want it looking clean and dont have alot of fibreglassing knowaldge so if anyone knows if it can be done and roughly what is involved i would apreciate it.

also wondering if anyone who has made a fake boot wall has still got the dimentions and is able to either post or pm them :blah: ty all

Just use a verada double DIN?

You need the surround which goes under the AC unit, but you also need the 2 brackets under it which are held in with 2 screws either side.
I'll actualy be reverting back to a single DIN. Never found a proper functional use for a double DIN so far. Single DIN and a tissue box pocket is perfect for me!

All good mate, Over the 4 years I've had a license and with all my mates who have a double DIN, I've only watched one movie with one ever. Personally not a fan of them but as long as you like it :D What model is it?

yeah dont think im going o be watching movies on it, but it was a presie and looks ok its a pionner FH-P6050UB figured putting that in instead of buying a single din unit would be cheaper and ive always had a love hate thing with anything touchscreen :rofl:

Depends if you smoke or not and what you smoke i guess; not bad to have something to watch sometimes, I hear.
