Hey Ladies and Fellas

I have a mate of mine and we are both having issues with boot rattle, he has gone crazy in his KF with covering the bootlid in dynamat, and i have just done basic deadning with expanda foam and we are both still getting crazy rattles. His system is capable of about 1.5kwrms and mine the mono is rated at 950@2ohm.

Question is has anyone here ironed out most of their boot rattles and how did you do it? pics would help alot!

Thanks

Magna's are notorious for the boot rattle.

You need to make sure it is actually the boot lid rattling. When I had mine, I needed to open the air vents on the left hand side of the boot, deaden the heat shield on the exhaust, foam the number plate, etc etc and I still got rattles.

Got a different car, half a bulk pack of deadening, a bit of foam and no rattles.... :ninja:

number plates are shocking for this, im working on deadenig my magna atm and the way i have gone is laying down dynamat over every singluar boot spot i can fit it ( costly but works) and then going over the top of the dynamat with bithumen based brush on body deadener

I used Double sided tape under my number plates aswell as using the screws... seems to have reduced the number plate rattle a fair bit..
