Hey Guys, i know i know.. plenty of threads already made... but none for exactly what i need
I want to know EXACTLY what i need to do a CC conversion to my 2002 MY02 Exec.
From what i understand i need
CC ECU
Vacuum Pump
Diaphram
CC Paddle
Clock Spring with CC on it...
+ whatever looms etc..
what else do i need???? i have read around that i need a spring of some kind? can someone please let me know what this spring actually is?
Now what i was thinking .... should i get a dash loom from a late model rada so in the future i can do a Climate Conversion???
Thanks in advance guys!

you will nee the complete throttle body in lieu of the diaphragm, and the spring is the clock spring.
i dont know your level of proficiency but on both my cruise and climate conversions i just took the wiring out of the donor loom and stitched it into the factory loom.

Okay Mal tried calling you but no answer ill try again tomorrow morning..
Tonight i pulled half my dash apart and it seems to me that i actually have the CC on my dash harness.. as i have a 4 pin brake switch with four wires coming out of the plug....
also i have the wire for the cruise paddle going up to the clock spring, but not the wire in the clock spring....
HOWEVER... i cannot find the plug for the CCECU, i know it **should** be down near the phone plug (abit closer the the ECU) but its not there.... so is there a possibility of the dash harness being two sections...????
Help guys! please?

my exec had the 4 pin plug on the brake switch... but i had to fit a 4 pin stop switch... so you'll need one of those. also had the wiring at the steering column.
you wont find the plugs for the ccecu because they need to be wired into your harness and you will need to run a 3 core wire to under the engine bay fuse box.... or fit the compatible loom(s)
Previous experience with fitting cruise to other cars has made me lean towards just fitting an aftermarket cruise unless all the wiring etc are already there. You can buy an AP50 for around $200 and fit it in a few hours. There are dearer types/models but they all do the same thing. I've done 2 Commodores, a N13 Pulsar and an EB Falcon and all worked perfectly straight up. Plus you get a guarantee. Just my opinion.

oem is so much better than aftermarket in performance and reliability (imho)

You may have some of the harness you need there but there wll be bits missing, the harness is in several parts, I can tell you exactly where to find each part so you will then know what you are looking for
