Sure have and there's been a number of reports recently on these forums. It's been suggested some of these problems can be caused by faulty alternators/diodes but I'm no closer to getting this sorted under warranty. Mine clears itself when the car is turned off but it's pretty random. I drove my car straight down to the dealer last week without turning the car off because the codes clear after shutdown and they came up with TPS fault codes but the TPS checked out ok. so far I've has the "TCL Off" light permanently lit with the switch not able to alter this, TCL Off Flashing & TCL Off followed by the Check Engine icon illuminating briefly at the same time. Dealership is not convinced that there is an alternator issue but as far as I know have not performed any wave pattern checks on the alternator either. Certainly puzzling.

Can also be caused by loose/split vacuum hoses
Or any type of vacuum leak eg. Mine was caused by a loose EGR connector.

When i was changing the TPS sensor, i had the exact same issue, it was caused by not having the TPS in the correct position, once i got it right, it was fine. I would say in your case it needs testing, if you havent touched it lately. it can be done with a multimeter, search and its on here.

Just thought I'd stick some feedback on my own TCL / Check Engine issue here after having the fault code scanned as a TPS fault.Initial tests indicated the TPS was OK on my car but after further testing Mitsubishi found a dead spot in the TPS. Ironically the fault has not reoccurred since they scanned it 3 weeks ago (typical). Anyway they'll be replacing the TPS soon so I'll monitor it and post my results.

Me too, especially when I'm arguing with Mitsubishi about faults. Electrical/electronic faults are such a pain when they're intermittent.Warranty all gone now.

So has anyone got the 100% on this yet? I've got this issue too. Check engine and tcl lights.

There is no 100% anwer, there are many systems in the vehicle which can cause the TCL to shut down for safety reasons. Can be alt, ABS system fault, soloniods etc etc. You have check engine light as well, I would get your car scanned and see what the result is there
