Hi guys.
In another thread in the tech section some ppl (incl myself) were asking if the Ralliart cams ($240 each) would fit the 3.0.
The following quote from "Mitsiman" suggests that the cam for the front bank of cylinders would be fine however the rear bank would not.
"The camshaft on the rear bank of cylinders has a different dowel pin and different machined fitting on the back of the camshaft for (connection to) the distributor when compared to the 3.5 camshafts. This is due to the height difference in the engine block."
Does anyone know if it is possible to modify the camshaft for the rear bank to fit the 3.0?
Having a look @ the Gregorys manual it seems that a good engine specialist/machine shop might be able to do this easily & cheap?
