as title states im enquiring about a fake wall to hide the subs / amps behind in the boot for a 2nd gen.

just got to keep enough room for a pram and some shopping ;) but also want it clean.

has anyone done it? got photos available? got ideas available? i tried a design i had in mind and it was bloody sweet in thery and even better while i was building it, but i got ahead of myself and found my idea actualy sucked quite hard. didnt leave me enough room and looked shocking.

cheers all

EDIT: anyone with a good idea on building a rack for the amps and another way to keep em cool and safe pls post up info or pics ( pics always good:D )

Do you mean a wall that you can mount the subs and amp onto/into? Or do you mean to completely hide them? If the latter, won't you have problems with overheating?

The way I'm doing it is building a large rectangle box, on the left, a subbox, on the right, 3 shelves for 3 amps. Bolted down to the car. Then a beauty board will be velcro'd across that to make it look....nice. Some small PC fans front and rear to direct airflow will be plenty.

I was able to screw one large amp longways UNDER the parcel shelf, fit up there nicely.

There might be photos is my KS thread (link in my sig).

Sub I just put in a box in the back corner of the boot (check out my KL thread for a good spot)

Plenty of room :)

the plan i originaly had had 1x pvc pipe in each bottom corner ( kinda like a sub port look) with a 80 pc case fan sucking air into the hidden off area so yeah airflow was thought off, hey tuff what are you using for your vanity board?
