Hi All,

I Have recently installed the stated head unit in my car and am loving it.

It has made the sound quality, drive and enjoyment of the car, however i am having some dramas using the
bluetooth phone feature.

i have set it up as per the manual but when making/receiving a phone call i the front speakers seem to be
on a mute setting preventing me from hearing whoever is on the other end of the phone.

I spent a good half hour yesterday mucking around with the settings with no avail.

Has anyone had any experience with this unit or know what the problem is/how unmute it??

Any help would be amazing :)

Thanx in advance!

Tim

have installed a few of these and never had a problem. maybe just recheck the manual and make sure you havnt missed anyting by mistake. also remove the headunit and double check your wiring

hmmmm, well ive spent some good time pouring my eyes over the manual and theres nothing actually specific about the speaker settings for it.
i had it installed by a mate who owns an audio shop and the only issue we had was that the front speakers were only outputting bass as per the amp setting, that was changed in the HU and problem solved.

it would have to be a setting on the HU as the front speakers work with any other function correct?
im just lost as to where else it may be hiding...

no offance meant to your mate but some of the worst and dodgiest jobs i have seen done have been from shops, wouldnt hurt to just pull it out and have a look, from looking ove rthe pdf available from the pionner site, there is a suggested method on page 14 of your manual. take a close look at that page titled BLUETOOth in the index and just see if there is something u missed in the setup part of things
