Put the battery back in for starters. You probably need a new ISC. A more detailed description is needed, really. RPM at startup? Does it idle up when you turn the aircon on?

Yeah you need another idle motor, take off the air intake and it's located under the throttle body, 2 x 8mm bolts (or philips head screwdriver) and it's a 6 pin plug

Wreckers should charge about $30 for one, try and get one from the newest model magna you can find. And yeah, as simple as plug and play. But an ECU re-set with the new idle motor wouldn't go astray either.

Yeah mate, your auto has to re-learn after the battery's been disconnected. It'll run rough for a little while (couple of days to a couple of weeks - your mileage will vary). My auto sometimes stalls in the day or two after a battery disconnection. It goes away after a while though.

If you search the forum, there's a procedure to follow (from Mitsubishi) to help the auto re-learn... I've never followed it though.

Wait the problem seems to be low idle revs? thats why the car stalsl right & that explains why it doesnt stall when the AC is on simple because engove revs harder to keep AC going. Just adjust your screw on throttle body to increase your idle revs back to 750rpm.

Cheers

If you are stalling without ac but not with ac, then your ISC is fine so dont waste your money

Only one person has clued onto the fact you stated your battery has been disconnected, you need to idle the car for 10 - 15 mins so it can relearn the idle. This is to be done with no load on the car

You may also benefit from getting some carb cleaner and cleaning around the throttle plate, if you need to you can also play with the air screw a little if need be but be warned, unless base idle is adjusted in time the ecu will drop the idle back with the stepper anyway

No. No load on the engine.

start it and let it idle 10mins from cold and DONT touch the gas pedal, this will allow the relearn and no stall.

For resetting, some require you to start the car then rev it to 2000rpm for 10 sec, then let you foot off the pedal and let it find its way down to the lowest stable idle, then from then it should be fine.
