Hi All i have a 1995 ts v6 auto and 2 weeks agao the transmission started playing up not changing gears etc now it wont even engage r.d.2,or L i have checked the transmission fluid all could what could it be any ideas?

No drive is most likely that the pump has stopped working. Check for obvious things first, like disconnected shift linkage and electrical connections unplugged. They are underneath the air box and piping. Failing anything simple the box probably needs to be opened up and reconditioned by someone who knows what they are doing. May be costly.

from memory its alot cheaper to get another box from the wreckers and have them fit it then it is to recondition one. might want to look at that as a option after checking all electrical plugs as mention by above poster

I'm not personally aware of issues with the auto in 2nd Gens (have had drama's with 3rd Gen autos myself). You could try to look/search for the Mitsi Workshop manuals thread, and see what the factory manuals say about troubleshooting the Auto...

hi back again replaced tcu still having trouble replaced inhibator switch still having trouble it is highlighting L and 2nd on the dash while it is drive it flickers on and off plz help if u can it is really starting to get to me
