just wondering anyone who has a pioneer 5550 mp3 wma HU
cos i have mine for 6 months and now sometimes the dipsplay goes off .... or the green lights wont work, im sure i know what the problem is , that the face plate isnt latching properly and therefore aint getting the power to the lights ... *i think*

I plan to take it back to where i brought it but im curious if this is a common problem ?

i got one o those about a week ago, not had any problems so far.....
strange actually cause i've never had/heard of anyone having issues with a HU!!
let me know how you go cause i'm gonna watch my HU now :confused:
good thing is (as far as i know anyways, i'm no expert!! :D ) that pioneer decks have a 12 month warranty, so if you have to get it fixed, its under warranty!!!

well my 5560 works fine, the only thing i dont like about it is the 4 annoying beeps it gives me when i turn the ignition off

you can turn it off by using the menu that you set the clock with....pretty sure it comes up as WARN ON/OFF.

but as for the problem with the faceplate, just slide it to one side a little, mine used to do it all the time
