gday guys,
wen i have the car locked and alarmed up and i open the boot and close it. the impact of closing the boot sets off the alarm. leads me to believe that one of the sensors around the door or something isnt working as it should or something. does anyone kno how the alarm sensors work? or where i should be looking? or any ideas?

This might seem like silly question, but does the light turn on when you open the boot?

yea it does (the light in the boot of the car, the light inside the car is still off as i havent unlocked the car doors). im opening it with the remote. so all things work as normal. even if i use the key, same jazz.
it didnt used to set off the alarm so it leads me to think something has happened.
