Hey guys, today I replaced one of the lighting fuses, but in the process I think I might have accidentally taken out one of the ECU fuses, when I went to start the car initially it would turn over but not start, I tried again and it started but after a few seconds of idling really low (under 500rpm) it stalled. I tried again and it ran but not smoothly, I took it for a drive thinking it would just be the ecu relearning, it would idle low, but run, it did however stall once at the traffic lights. Is this normally what happens when the ECU is reset? I should also note it's still stalling when trying to start and it seems I had to reprogram the trip computer a few times when I started but not any more.
This is probably no help as I'm new to Magna's, but on my TL when I removed the battery, which resets the ECU, the only symptom I had was an idle of 600rpm for a few days, otherwise it was 100%. You also say you had to reprogram the trip computer a few times - the way I understand it, the only time the trip computer loses it's memory is when power is disconnected, so unless you removed the fuse again, the trip computer should not have reset....maybe you have a bad connection or a loose fuse. Good Luck.

Try turn car on, turn car off. Start the engine and hold revs to 2000rpm for 10 sec then let your foot off and let it find its way down to a stable idle.
