Hey,
So my front drivers side speaker in my Ralliart has finally shat itself. If it produces any bass it just crackles to it. It's so annoying.. Should i get it replaced or is there some other cheaper option?
I recently purchased a Vibe Slick pack (12" sub and mono amp) from shopping secure and am going to get it installled this weekend. If i replace that one speaker thats fuzzing with something else it will probably sound different to the other one/others. Any ideas?
Another question i have is can the sub and amp hook straight up to the Ralliart Eclipse HU? in a nutshell is it compadible?
Is it possible to turn the bass right down on the speakers whilst keeping the bass up on the sub so i don't have to hear the crackle of that certain speaker? If i do that will it sound wierd?
Cheers in advance fellas!

You can only buy speakers in pairs anyway, so just replace the front pair. I've never listened to the Ralliart system before so I'm not sure how much you'd need to spend to buy something comparable.

From my understanding, the Ralliart headunit doesn't have RCA outputs. So you'll need a new headunit, or you'll need something to convert the speaker outputs to the amp (so either something like a Rockford 360, or an amp with line inputs).

You could adjust the gains on the amp so that the sub was louder than the rest of the system, but your front speakers should be your priority audio-wise. Get them replaced.

Okay, you only replace speakers in pair's. So you will have to replace the good passenger side one aswell.
That's about all really, not sure if the headunit has any preouts (Doubt it for a standard HU) Might have to use line-out converters or a different headunit altogether, But I'll wait for someone to chime-in who actually has a ralliart to confirm that

Possibly or there is a CD already in it ?
I would look at replacing the fronts with a Set of Eclipse Splits... I am pretty sure eclipse was the brand used in the Ralliarts ?

try pressing & holding the eject or load buttons - didn't work for me but that's what the manual said to try.

ok, i worked it out.. i thought you put cd's in the 6 stacker slot!! i had no idea you press open and it opens to a cd slot! I pressed open and realised it was getting jammed and only opening half way (hence why i couldn't work out where to put cd's in). This HU is very confusing.. what is the 6 stacker slot for then if theres already a cd slot? :S
Now somehow i have to make the face open properly it always gets stuck.. hmm WD40 may do the trick.
