Immobiliser/flat battery in remote/key? Immobiliser plug under dash?
Might be an issue with crank position, so ECU doesnt fire. Remove plugs and check that fuel is injecting.
Check for fault codes (ask if you need help with this).

Did it start when you put the ECU in? I think you've answered your own question if that's the case. Something to do with immob I would think.

ah then yes its pretty obvious that if the car was fine and now is not starting after ecu was modified it is an ecu problem, check all connections

If it is cranking and not starting then the problem is with the ECU to BEM immobiliser circuit.
Disconnect the battery.
Remove and replace the plugs in the ECU a couple of times, I think that the offending circuit is coloured brown. Check the wiring diagrams to work out which colour.
Diagrams are in the Workshop manual downloads.
It may be that another ECU was sent back to you. The problem with this is that it won't be matched to the BEM, so the immobiliser will just not the car to start.
Possibly the best answer if wiggling connectors does not work is to send the ECu back to SKR and get the immobiliseer function removed.

Sorry mate but this ECU is not dependant on the BEM as Steve unlocks them
I believe the issue is either with the ECU itself of poss damage in transit
FYI, this ECU was actually out of his car in the first place, had a fuel and ig map upgrade and then sent back. Could be an issue when the flash was done, I would suggest you call Steve and go from there, I am sure he will be more than happy to do what he can over the phone
