I have a TJ Sports with 3 button remote.
It usually opens the drivers door with one push then a second push opens the rest.
It is now for seemingly no reason opening all the doors with one push but it does the drivers first then in half a second the others open.
Is there some setting or is there some problem with it?
I have searched but can't find this particular issue there.

might be the switch is staying in the 'pressed' position when you click it, and not returning, and so causing the remote to send multiple, quick signals? although i think if i keep clicking my remote, it also keeps flashing the indicators, so maybe not. in some of my previous cars, you could change the setting between 1 door, or all doors. perhaps the magna has a similar feature and yours has gone to it by accident.

could be wear in the drivers door actuator that is causing it to send out an unlock pulse when it is actuated

would be good to know when you get to the bottom of this because the single thing on my magna that pisses me off is the dual stage unlock

i had this the other day, was at work went to unlock my car and the central locking went crazy, unlocked everything, then locked drivers side then unlocked drivers side and locked pass side then locked everything again...and i pushed the green button once.... lol

I believe it is the BEM. This computer controls the central locks. But it could also be attributed to the door open switch which are a common issue for Magnas. This has happened in my TJ as well. Try a battery reset.

Might be worth reprogramming the remote. Mine was acting up like this but a reprogram fixed it.
