Hey there, can some one give a idea of a good setup for a exaust,EG,should i go all the way from the front, and what size is recommended,i dont want a fart box though, just a nice rumble, burble sound, but will also want the performance, ive scored a computer chip, out of a ex police car,,so what else will i need, should i keep the standard filter idk,ive always had v8s,or rotories, sorry i dont mean to sound dumb but this is my first magna and id like to do it right.
Thanks anyone that can help.its a magan solara 1999 th magna 3.5 litre

Welcome to the club mate. If you want info on commonly asked questions, use the Search button in the top right corner to search through older threads - old threads are a goldmine of useful information. But to get you started, the stock Magna exhaust piping is 2.3-2.4", so your gains are going to come from a free-flowing rear muffler.
Care to share any more information about your 'chip'? I've seen people run aftermarket ECUs and/or reflash their stock ECU, but I've never heard of anyone installing a 'chip' on a Magna...

Police cars being "chipped" is a myth. I own a BT1 (http://www.holdenwiki.net/index.php?title=BT1) wagon (VS Commodore) and in the motor dept they're stock. People come up with all kinds of excuses, like "oh the chip must have been removed when they on-sold it" but in reality its just a odd-optioned car on a 2 year lease.
