mags will definately give u a much better looking car. check out my site (in my signature) for some pictures of my car before and after the mags were put on. looks much better. if u can, go for the elante kit for sure.

this will make it look good, but u should also want it to GO good :D. if u want some suggestions about gaining more power just give us the details of ur car (manual/auto, carb/efi etc) and everyone here will suggest the best mods to go for... :D hope its carby, then i can help lol

ordinarily a carby upgrade would be great - but i hear u cant use any other carb apart from what came on the car if u have an auto transmission :? something to do with all the extra vacuum lines or maybe its something electric.. not 2 sure

i think the best you can do (cheaply) until u get a manual trans, is a 2" exhaust & extractors, and a k&n replacement filter

Sounds good to me, i will look at a turbo when i get a manual.

Where is the best place to get the parts from? RPW?

ive contemplated modifying my magna but i really dont think u can get to much out of these motors without spending alot of money hehehe..... so my car is dead stock besides a k&n filter n my home made cold air intake.....i got the fuel injected motor.... wat are the power figures? n also the carb motor power figures?

yeah u can't get lots of power out of the efi cars without spending alot of money. but the carbs are cheap and u get alot of power out of them without turboing haha. most u can do is extractors, exhaust... u have the air filter and CAI. maybe a new cam? bigger throttle body.... a chip? go for the extractors and exhaust first though... will c abit from it.

You dont really need to spend that much, about 2k would see you rip up any other gen and probably auto v6 mangas near stock, but with a 4cyl you cant do anything without forced induction. i made a thread about RPW's parts list, go read it and its got prices. i'll tell you what im thinking about getting

RPW 64mm Oversize Throttle Body $250
Machined intake manifold to suit TB $150
Bosch Fuel Pump Rated 163 L/H $321
Larger Injectors - 300cc each $416
Fuel Pressure Regulator $350
RPW Billeted Stage 1 Camshaft $275
RPW 4-2-1 Street Design Extractors $250
High Flow Cat 2 1/2" $200

Although this is about 2200K worth of gear i rekon the old magna would put along nicely, however i'll probably never get the money around to doing most of it, ive been meaning to get extractors and make my own cai since i got the car like a year ago haha

Yeah, I got the extractors and exhaust, sounds nice, and revs alot freely, I havent noticed much power gains, but it likes to burble alot... :D

Im saving for the carby upgrade, it can be done on an auto, its to do with a plug and RPW can do it, drive in, drive out for 1K or 750 to fit it yourself. (that is 1K carby upgrade)

Yeah, i reckon i will need all of the above mods, i had my car out the other day and i was trying to do a burnout in it (not an easy task) whenever i put my foot down it has not enough guts to get the wheels spinning...right now its a real heap!
