in the next few months ill be preparing the magna for transfer into my name. for the rego im wondering weather its likely to need anything done to the suspension. its an 89 wagon and seems fine but is there any test i can do at home to determine weather its likely ill need to do something with it. i know the magna's are a bit soft but it makes me wonder weather mine is too soft.
any suggestions appreciated.

just push down on every corner and if it floats around or bouncy chances are the shockers are gone and if you find going over pot holes makes a loud bang noise same deal shockers and bumpstops. also jack up take the wheels off and check ball joint/tie rod end rubbers arnt cracked and leaking

i will take off a wheel when i get back from my current holiday next week. it rides smooth and dosnt seem to pull to the left or right so i dont think there is allot of trouble ahead. the ball joints are a possibility because its done 210,000km and i cant find any service dockets that indicate them being done at all and i have them back till the very first service apart from the past few years but the current owner and previous mechanics didnt do anything too grand in the past few years.
