Just locked my keys in my second gen se :facepalm help anyone? breaking a window isnt an option, any other ways?

There is but i am not sure it will work on a Magna...worked on my old laser.

take off the window rubers/sils on the outside of the window (bottom bit)

get a coat hanger and bend it into a hook shape (about 1 foot in length)

put it down the side of there window heading towards your lock and try and grab a little lever inside the door and pull up.. this should open the car..

get a metal ruler or a carpenters saw. Really anything thats roughly a foot long or longer and is thin and sturdy enough to fit inbetween the glass and the rubber seals and needs to push down on a small lever.

Now the method for this is to insert the ruler in between the glass and the rubber seal roughly above where the lock is. Im showing this on my TJ but it doesn't work on 3rd gens but is pretty easy on 2nds.

Once its in you'll want to push the ruler against the window so that it is closer to the lock barrel in the door.

Last bit is tricky, you need to move the ruler down, very closely on either side of the lock till it feels like its grabbing something. Just keep pushing down and it will unlock it. It does work, I've gotten into alot of cars this way, works less on new cars but is a charm on older ones and used it several times to get into my old TR exec.

Tried your method JarRah but there seems to be a bar/plate protecting that area, got the ruler down to the side facing the front but i slid it back and it stops about 10cm from the lock barrel where i can feel a plate blocking it so i dunno, i think i just suck hahaha :P

But the good news is that i got a coat hanger through the door seal at the point where the doors meet and pulled up the inner lock lever (dont know what you call it) of the passenger door :D :D :D :D
