Hey all just a question to those who made they're own fiber glass sub boxes to fit in the rear corners of the boot
My question is how much will someone charge me for them to make me to sub boxes?
As I don't fiber glass and never tried. I want the boxes to be 1.1cubic feet each and to sit square to the body pointing inward and as well as to be carpeted.
Cheers

Best bet would be to grab a photo of one and head to your local car audio place.
A member called Bigs used to make them, but haven't seen him on here for some time now. They were around the $200-$250 mark from memory.
to get a pair of matching boxes made (both the same volume) from a shop, you would be looking at a minimum of about $800-$1000 i'd say

I got quoted $300 a couple of years ago for a custom fibreglass box to fit the corner of my boot. The guy's normally pretty expensive - although he does very good work - so I thought it was a pretty reasonable price. Like Poita said, an AMC member was selling them a little while back for around $250, but he was just doing it as a hobby.

how much
sorry man too busy to build boxes these days, high demand job and house upgrades = epic busy, plus if i charged out at the rate that i do cash jobs, i would be about the same price as a reasonable car audio store
