Hey guys,
Went to upullit today, and got a LUKEY exhaust from a TS to bolt onto mine.
Just wondering one or two things,
Will it have any negative effects on the tuning of the car? i.e. could it potentially stuff up anything?
What benefits will I gain from it?
There is a minute hole near the first mount with the gasket, its on the pipe and is <1mm wide. What is the best option to cover this up? Weld it? My dad stupidly suggested putting a small rivet in it, could this actually work?
And one last thing - has anyone had any experiences with these? will changing just the muffler make it too loud to handle?

Cheers for the help!

EDIT: Only cost me $20 too! good find imo :)

Do you know if its a straight through or highflow ?

You cant really stuff anything up. Assuming its straight through you can gain better fuel economy (but this can be bottle necked by the exhaust itself) and maybe a louder note. Also if the rivet sits tight and doesnt budge it will work but welding is the smarter choice.

Also if it has the same hanger as your one well it doesnt take long to swap so its something you can try and if its too loud go back.

Well it goes in and out through the middle of it so I can assume it will be straight through.....not sure though.
Sadly the exhaust is still at my mates (we are putting it on tomorrow) so I will try and find out then.
The hangers are exactly the same! (happy to find out) so it should only take half an hour to get on (assuming the bolts wont be an absolute bitch :P)

So yeah, I am hoping for a note that is loud (but only when I plant it) and if I am lucky *crosses fingers* some better fuel economy!

And by it being bottlenecked, do you mean by the fact that it might not make it more efficient?

It should make it idle better and be more responsive,i think from memory on the Lukey sight that they used a TS as there test car,it improved the power and torque

yeah - went to put it on today, but unfortunately it differs as my TS is a wagon :( Now I need to get rid of it as I have no use for it :P

nah I just passed it off as a stock muffler :P didnt show them the side that said "lukey performance exhaust"
I am taking it and my car to an exhaust place tomorrow to get it fitted, should cost ~$60.. is this an ok price?
