Does a TJ VRX Bodykit fit onto a TE with no mods ? Also what are the other good options for a bodykit on a TE Magna ? and prices please.

Also with Parra's ive noticed some members have a blue tinge on their high beam lens, is this just the reflection of a blue globe ? If so what sort?

My Philips Power2Night (+50%) globes have a blue cap (http://www.miltenberger-autoteile.de/Beleuchtung_Philips/power2night_h4.jpg) on them that reflects in the parabolic housing. The actual light output is only a fraction whiter than standard bulbs though.

I don't think so, not on to a TE without mods, pretty sure you got to have a TH front bar minimum to fit the factory body kits. VRX and Ground Effects, or GE, kits are rare as these days, Mitsi don't sell them any more, you looking at $1000 for an as new, unpainted GE kit, probably $500 - $600 for one second hand or off a wreck, assuming the kit survived the accident.

There are other kits out there, Talon did one for the TE, Carmate also do kits for the Magna. These are fibreglass, not plastic like the factory kits.

not sure if talon one fits TE, it was printed TE on the bottom but i think they only fit TH. i have talon kit on mine...

hmmmm mabye mines different? coz i remember seeing a thread on here not long ago about this issue...was a FS thread pretty sure. and i looked at mine underneath the front bar has "99 TE MAGNA" printed in the mold... not sure :s

i had a look at the talon site at magna they do them but yuk lol but no picture for the te kit

Have a flick through my Members Machines thread, any pic after the end of 07 will have those bulbs in it. It's not really that noticable though.

there are a bunch of globes that have blue glass, if thats what you were after

There's a VRX kit on ebay atm with a starting price of $500. The sides and rear will fit fine. The front skirts will not. You'll need a front bar from a TH or a TJ so the front skirts will fit.
