how would KL taillights go on a KJ, I've found some on ebay and I'm thinking of getting them for something a bit different.

Technically yes they will. You will need a bootlid off a TL and a bumper to match though. The actual lights have a slightly different shape where the edge of the light meets the bootlid shut line.

They will fit but you'll end up with a small gap up top as the T/KL's had a bigger round on the bootlids

Ok, let me break out the pics to show you what kind of gap - If you arent looking for it, you wont see it :)
