TW magna: bonnet rattles when driving over bumps. I wound up the adjustable rubber bumps but then the alarm would go off when I parked the car.

It's a metal-against-metal rattle, seems to be coming from the catch.

Any thoughts?

mine is rattling crazy, i thought it was my engine but when i open the bonnet it stops so i narrowed it down the the bonnet itself. unless i'm wrong :). but yea i'd love to know how to get rid of it lol

get some thick foam tape and put it all around the edges, will stop the rattling and also make everything lock tighter together

I think it is coming from the catch itself

I wrapped about 6 turns of insulating tape around the loop that comes down from the bonnet and which goes into the catch. Seems to have fixed it.
