Hi guys

my aircon fan speed only works on setting 4

mitsi wreckers told me its a common problem that the resister gives way. so i have a new one.

was wondering where i could find where it is so i can replace it

hey mate take the glove box out on the right hand side under there you will see a plug which is held in by two screws undo them and the resister will come out

cheers for that mate! had a feeling it was hiding underthere somewhere...only problem now is i have stripped screw!

i had that problem last week taking the glove box out had to drill it out
as long as you found it

i took the resistor out, the new one i have has a different fin system ( the old one was ceramic). Before only the 4th speed worked. now 1 and 4 work but only flat out. wouldnt have thought they would have made the resistor any different? hrtrrmm

The one you have put in is from the climate control model, ie Verada, it would have alloy fins on it?

YOu need the same ceramic one to make all fan speeds work

yeah ive swapped it over for the ceramic one. all works now! cheers guys
