Hi, you should double check your spark plug leads are on the correct cylinders.
Trace each one all the way from plug to dist cap to make sure.

No, the brand should not matter.
Whilst it is always a good idea to have a matched set of leads, we all know that they don't break when convenient.
It does sound like the leads are possibly on the wrong cylinders.

If you have had rocker covers off and you now have a knock, you have dropped something in there, no plug lead will make a knock
You also mention you dropped a bolt somewhere, you need to locate where you dropped it and retreive it, find if the knock is coming from the front or rear bank, determine which cyl is not firing and then determine from there what is going on

its from the rear one will it still be in the rocker cover part?
i replace the bolt with a new one any ideas how to find it?

so you just left the bolt INSIDE the engine...:kb:
have fun mate...
i would honestly not start the car until you have this sorted out.... because bolts can cause ALOT of damage inside engines...

So it is sounding like that missing bolt may have fallen down inside the manifold then...hmmmm...this is a good reason why I always state that it is not always a good idea to try DIY as it can end up costing you much more in the end.
IF this is the case, then you are far better off just getting a low k engine installed

If you can find someone with a scope, they can actually look inside the cyl to see if there has been any damage to the piston and to the bore. If there is any damage at all, even to the head, I highly doubt you will fix for a grand even if you are not paying labour
Granted you have a low K motor, what model is your car, if is a H or earlier you are still far better off getting a low k motor from a TJ or later as then you also get the better cam shafts, you should be able to pick up a good motor for under 1k thus even with fluids you will be fine. You do not need to take out the trans either BTW
Also, if you do still persist with this engine, make sure you use GENUINE head gaskets as these are by far the best ones to use

Pro tip, if you are going to do rocker covers, cover the lower intake manifold with an old rag so nothing gets inside... Works for me :)
