Recently bought two parts for the stereo, which i reakon i got for a huge bargin

New 6x9's: Pioneer TS-A6960E. RRP $179 got em for $99 http://www.pioneeraus.com.au/car_entertainment/speakers/tsa6960e/index.html

And new Head Unit. Pioneer DEH-P7550MP RRP $999 got it for $570 http://www.pioneeraus.com.au/car_entertainment/cdtuners/dehp7550mp/index.html

Thought i did pretty well overall

Nice quality gear. I am a fan of the deck. The speakers don't suit my personal tastes but this is the beauty of humans and music - each to their own. :D:D

i just looked at the specs.

3 pre-outs and at 4Volts, pretty darn good for that price :cool:

Hehe, nothin puts a smile on ur face quicker then getting a good bargain! :D I got my Clarion 835 for $650 (RRP $899), & a Pair of pioneer kevlar cone 6" for $250 (RRP $350).

In both cases they were marked at RRP ie. not on "SALE", but I've gotten to know how to talk the owner on the local Autobarn down a fair bit... with the stereo in my previous car (close to $4G worth) I didn't pay even CLOSE to RRP for anything except the 2 DVC subs which he had to get in from Sydney.

Nothin like a good bargain! :cool:

getting something of quality for cheap is a very good feeling!

i got a 4 channel eclipse last week for $400, down from $699 rrp :D

I think everyone knows that feeling, I picked up 2 Alpine Type R 12in subs for $225ea

i got my 835 for 450.. NEW! :P heheheh

also got my kicker amp for 320.. RRP 600 :D

Got a set of Focal Polykevlar 165K2's for $450.
