have a look at the actual unit and the spelling of 'apexi'? its missing the 'i' but the 'i' is there on the box..... dodgy? or not? and is it just me or is does the unit just not look quite right....

hmmm.....i dunno, i'm a bit spectical about them being special edition....the website doesn't seem to say anything about the special edition, but if it does the job, then i don't see a problem either, besides ur mates thinking they're fake lol honestly, i have no idea. that fella looks like he's got a ****load of apexi stuff too

from my understanding the company's name is actually APEX... the i is like a sub-division they use (i think it stands for intergration) on their electronics stuff for sale outside of japan. i think if u look at the coil-overs, turbos and such they produce they only have APEX on them.
But thats just my understanding... i could be completely wrong, but it would explain the lack of the i.

Personally tho.... they LOOK dodge. in the pic the casing doesn't fit right. and i find it strange that the unit has no i but the stand does... may be explained by the stand being from a different component and just used to show off the units for sale.

In the end its up to u... but check the sellers rep be4 hand.... and if u go thru with it and get ripped we'll all know better next time.

true, i think its mainly the fact that its off ebay we think its dodgey, best yet, someone get one, and tell us if its fake :badgrin: nah, i personally woudln't get one, but the little timers sittin in the pic seem ok.
