Hi all. just wondering if the lights on the trans floor shifter should light up? my + an- light up but not the PRND? If they should light up how do i replace the globes? also anyone know how to change the glovebox light too? Thanks in advance.

i have it and it doesn't show you how to remove the surround. should it light up anyway?

yes it should light up

it does show you how to remove it but you have to remove a lot of trim to do it

my + and - dont light up so I am waiting till the rest start to go before I replace them

it shows them as led's but i can't find where it says how to remove the bits it only seems to show an exploded view?

thats it you need to reverse engineer it so to speak

also the globes are T5 I do believe

ok bit the bullet and decided to replace the blown globe today, what a pig of a job! took me around 3 hours to do but happy i did it as i hate something not working properly. Rang mitsi for the price on the T5 wedge base led globe they said $13.75 each!!! ended up getting them from Jaycar for $2.95 each what a difference.

I am waiting til I am going to be on Holidays at christmas before thinking about tackling it

and thats if I can be bothered but SMD LEDs will be used methinks

I had my trans globes replaced under warranty. It's not exactly a user replaceable item like your tail lights etc. If they wanted you to replace them yourself they would have made it easy to access.

Yep i've got the flicker too...it was a cool effect for a while, but I think i'll get em replaced at the next service. i'll try the warranty route.
