has anyone else has the same problem i did?
My drivers sunvisor has come lose, when its turned (to bloke the sun through the door window) and i go round a corner it moves back and hit me on its own .. i had this problem about 12 months ago and they replaced the visor, now its happening again :( I've got an S2 VRX, i wondered if its cause of the weight of the mirror and lights in there?
Anyway i took it off, and it doesn't seem to be able to be tightened ..
GRRR still in warranty but i don't wanna lose my car for the day

Mine was loose too but I could tighten it up with the screws in the head liner

I have the same problem, the *^%%^*^&&^& visor belts me in the noggin every time I turn right, if I have it swung over to block the sun from the driver's side window.

I replaced my stock pov pack plastic visors with velour GT/VRX/SX/LX visors a few months ago. Got them from Eddy Wreckers so doubt if I have any hope of a warranty claim.

I've taken the visor off and fiddled with it as best I can, but nothing seems to make any difference. The screws in the headliner are irrelevant to this problem, they simply mount the visor to the roof, sorry Mecha!

I thought it might be related to the spring in the visor head having not quite enough tension, so I jammed half a small washer between two of the spring coils to increase the tension on them. Made no difference at all, I suspect this spring relates to the 'up/down' movement of the visor (which is not a problem) rather than the side to side movement or tension.

Does anyone have any ideas, this is driving me beresk now that the sun is coming out!

My passenger side just 'rattles' Sliding the extension piece in and out by 1 mm seems to help till I hit a bump

Might have found a solution.

Stuck a double layer (one layer wasn't enough) of velcro (the nobbly bit) on the rear part of the mounting bracket, just to the driver's side of the rear/bottom mounting screw. Before this the visor arm just touched the mounting bracket when the visor was swung to the driver's side window. But not with enough tension to stop the visor swinging back again all by itself, every time I turned right. Now the visor arm jams up against the bit of velcro which stops it from swinging back. Gave it a test run and seems to work. The bit of velcro is barely noticeable.

Look for the same topic in the magna or tech section for advice.

Had a good search, the only thread I could find that come close was this one Tighten Sun Visor in KJ Verada??? (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82420&highlight=visor), but that's about the well known problem of Verada sunvisors not staying up / flopping down when in the 'straight ahead' position. I had the same problem on my TE with the pov pack (read light) driver's side visor, once it got to about 150,000k. That's not the problem Brad & I are having, our problem is that when you swing the driver's side visor around to the side window, it won't stay put when you turn right and it swings back to the front and belts you in the noggin on the way past. I guess the same probably applies to the passenger side visor swinging back when you turn left, but I haven't had a passenger complain about it yet.

Doh, sorry, I had that problem as well. Got it replaced under warranty. Fixed the problem. No more whacks in the head when making a right turn. Don't think there is anything you can do your self.
