Could anyone tell me how to change the driving light for magna TL ES? I managed to change the driver side, but I have no idea how to do it for the other one. The car doesn’t comes with the manual :(

If you are talking about the main headlight globe... you will probably need to remove front wheel off passenger side and undo the splash guard in the wheel arch to access it, or remove the battery which may give you access. There have been other threads about this which may give you more info.

The left headlight is the hardest. You need to remove the left wheel, unscrew and peel back the plastic under the fender. Then put your hand though a small hole and feel your way around. The tricky part is pinching the plastic connection plug in order to disconnect from the back of the bulb. You can only use one hand for this, theres no room for two hands. Don't pull too hard coz you'll end up ripping out the back of the headlight assembly. (but don't worry, can be put together easily if you do)

Note however that depending on how you go, you may need to check and adjust the head lamps using the screw adjustments provided with the headlight.

seeing as this is mitsu's crap design, does anyone know if they charge anything (even if only a little bit) to change it for you?

If your a regular in their service department they will change it for you for free, but only if you do it at the same time as when the car is in for a service...

P.S. in other words there is no free lunch.

Get a bulb from from supercheap, take advantage of "we can fit this for 2.00"

It is definitely involving - but you can save taking the wheel off.

What I did - was I removed the battery, removed the air filter and then unbolted the fuse box, pushing it back a few mm extra for more access to the globe area then I could change it.

The thing that held me up is I didn't realise the globe holder went in the right way, it seemed like it could go either way but it definitely has a direction so double check it when it comes out.

after spending 2 hours to try do it myself i eneded up taking my car to mitsu to get fitted... took them half an hour to do 2 bulbs for $25.. the guy told me they unscrew and pull out the headlight assembley and then fit them... so if u have the right tools just do that will halve the time of taking the wheel off and undoing the splash guard
