I feel stupid asking this question, but I'm trying to get access to the park brake adjuster under the console, and supposedly the console bin just comes out.

Mine however seems to be held in somehow, and I can't work out how I might get it out without destroying it - which doesn't concern me but the power socket is in there and I really need that.

Has anyone done this before on a TL/KL and can tell me how the eff to do it? lol I'm tempted to just pay somebody else to do it haha.

I pulled mine out on the weekend - its not glued - just held in with one way clips kinda thing.... that you break when pulling up.
Bit of force required on it :)
still sits in there fine - doesnt move about etc - but the clips are broken.

TJ bin is not held in by anything lol just sits there :D
