ive got the same problem with the rear dimister light, it will be the LED thats gone i guess. which involves pulling the dash apart to replace which is why i havent been bothered yet.

and trust me you dont wanna get mitsu to do it, they quoted me something like $120 for the god damn switch. You can't just replace the led I dont think. I have the same trouble my airocon light doesn't work but the aircon works fine.

Trouble shooting would suggest that your AC isn't working but if it is then yeah just a little globe behind the switch. They are pretty simple to replace but you might bugger your switch doing it. Just take your time and get some practice removing the centre console. Its easy -floor console-ciggie lighter- (these two you can pull out by hand just keep tugging from their centre of mass) -vents (you need to disconnect the cable first so that might involve removing the part under the stering wheel depends upon how flexible your arm is. Then you need a coat hanger with a hook about 10mm long made on teh end. Stick it in the right hand vane make sure it is hooked on the back of the unit then pull with power but don't pull it too far or as it slipps you will brake all of your vanes. Do the other side and it should come out. ) -radio ac console - (is screwed in easy done)

If your going to pull your centre console out, then spray some Shelleys Ezyguide before putting it back together.

No more squeaks! :rofleek:

Dick Smith is the place to go, they have a pretty good range on LED's. I think you can buy online aswell :D Click Here! (http://www.dse.com.au) :D

leds dont exactly solder straight onto ur old bulb connections / power, coz u need resistors and other electrical nerd components like that don't u?

so, back onto topic, my snowflake and green light aren't working. a lotof ppl who have ripped their consoles out either have rear demister or aircon light not working. any idea how to fix it?

rip the white cable and thing out the back of the switch, and swap bulbs...?

Just get a led of the same voltage as the original and you dont need a resistor.

95% sure you need to get your A/C system regased, you'll find the performance will start to die if it hasn't already.

Probably need to get it die tested as well to make sure there isn't a leak anywhere... otherwise you'll be getting it regased again in a little while
