I just got myself a whiteline strut brace. I held it in place but I found a problem. it wont fit because of the intake resonator. has anyone had this problem would it be ok if I just turned the resonator. I know I can't remove it or the car wont run properly.
Thanx

gee - u woulda thought that they made them properly!!

Can you switch the mounting plates end to end and have the bar turn around the other way to avoid it?

Have you tried calling whiteline to ask them?

I was going to get one for my car, I heard it helps on hard launches.

i thought they were just for structural support reducing bodyroll in hard cornering??

Does anyone know if it will affect the car if I turn that intake resonator just a lil like 30 mm to the right??

na the colour has nothign to do with strength only brand name. Whiteline used to have yellow and blue, now they have silver and blue...

I've got one with the yellow ends on my TJ, and I had the same problem with the intake resonator.

You will find that it is easy to move, and does not damage or prove detrimental to it's function or strength.

I've got a couple of pics with my strut brace on my (not very good pics) that I can emial you if you want, so you can see what I'm talking about.

Does the strut brace really help with take offs? I was told it helps stop the car going to the left.

I think it does. I put it on tonite and went for a drive normally I have to change out of first at like 4 grand otherwise the front end is just lifting to much but now I get to 5 with no trouble at all.

Basically it helps reduce the flex/twist on the top of the engine bay as the engine mounts are at the bottom.. It does help with the cornering. If u are very particular and since the strut bar is adjustable.. you can tighten the strut to your liking...
