Has anyone done this? The Haynes books specifically says not to... Replace the entire control arm for a ball joint? Really?
I'll be getting into this over the weekend. New bushings on the control arms and sway bar. Thinking of doing the ball joints while I am there.
Any words of wisdom?

Thank you,
Scott

Ball joints are not something you can do yourself. If they are pressed in like the first gen TP, you need to take the arm and the new ball joints to a workshop to get the old ones pressed out and the new ones pressed in. If they have no slop in them, but are dry, you can remove the cover and apply some high temp ball joint grease. If the cover is torn, you can get replacements, but not from Mitsu.

Thanks for that MadMax. Wasn't looking forward to doing them anyway...
