Hi

I've been trying to reprogram my new remote but for some reason the car won't enter the mode to reprogram it... I've tried off to on 3 times, 4 times, 5 times, 2 times and pressing all buttons, etc. Tried off to acc 2-5 times, buttons, etc. Hazards don't flash with any of these combos and I get no 'success' beep.

Any ideas as I'm pulling my hair out atm!

Ok, its all down to speed. With my KH its very different to the old TE I had to program. This is because the TH/LH was the first with the BEM.

After not being able to program mine for about 7 months, I gave up and took it to a dealer. He did it in 30 secs. Apparently in the KH, the beep is not a success. its an error indicator. The success is only 2 flashes of the indicators.

My advice would be to check the battery in the remote. Get in car with all doors closed. Go from Off to ON, pause, then quickly go from on to off and back again UNTIL it registers. (at least 3 times in 5 seconds).

If all else fails, a Mitsubishi Dealer WILL be able to do it. For free.
