Hey all,
just wondering what peoples experiences have been with the led dash kits of ebay for example for a TE magna?

It appears to be a simple swap out but i just want some feed back etc? opinions before i do it eg do they work is it hard would you do it etc?

i know autobarn do some but not sure which is better quality etc? brand recommendations?

Does anyone have any pics or theirs on a TE? i would like to go blue but not sure how good they are at night so was thinking white? can you do eg blue number and white needle?

run the blue leds in my te. needles are blue. pretty easy to swap out. my bulbs are the 4led version. dunno if it looks better with more leds as i havent tried them. be interesting to see if a 9led smd bulb would fit in and how much more brightness you'd get. but i like it over the stock white.

hmmm looks good can you see the needle though at night eg can you easily see your at 60 lol


what are the led smd bulbs? is that like the ones i was looking at - eg splits the lights in 9 different channel or does it actually have 9 little leds on each bulb?

also what type of bulb do i get for the air con cig lighter and ash tray? i want them 2 be blue or white???

yeah you can see the needle at night. i find it quite easy to read. smd leds are (surface mount device light emitting diode). they are quite smaller than a LED so you can have more of them packed into a smaller space.

yeah the ones listed kinda look like the ones i bought, i thought i had 4 led version but i could be wrong. been a year since i put them in

thanks, yep it was! picked up some T5 Monza blue wedge bulbs from autobarn and looks good
