I recently purchased a 1999 KH Verada,
however i more recently installed a complete new audio system for it and ive come across a annoying issue
When i turn the lights on with the sound system running. the led aircon screen and the surrounding aircon adjustment buttons completely cut out. the aircon still works but it makes it hard to make adjustments when you have to pull over, turn the lights off and wait for the led screen come back on

i have yet to take it back out because its such a prick to get the whole unit out and i did reconnect it properly but has anyone else had this issue when they have installed car audio and how did they work around it?

My mate who installed the head unit told me that he didnt connect the illumination wire because the unit didnt even have one (pioneer DEH 7050-bt)
even checked the wiring diagrams and it doesnt have one
