Well i dropped into U-Pull-It this morning to kill some time before my sons soccer match ,and was checking out the Magnas as one does, and i passed by a tidy looking Third gen advance.
No big deal there, peeked inside the window, and some one had removed the power window switch.
Through the opening i saw a bright red Crossover..ooohh...so i took the trim off to reveal an Eclipsee crossover and woofer..model number 8052 ??..tweeters were missing, but ,i thought,no biggy, got a set of Fusion tweeters sitting at home.
From the web i can sort of suss out that these are obviously a few years old now,but,meh...
...so i thought ...wow ,gotta have them....checked the rear parcel shelf...double bonus.....nice set of 6 x 9 three way....out to the car to get the ol screw driver and $24.00 dollars later ,they were mine...must have either been professionally installed or the owner knew what they were doing ,as the crossover were nicely screwed to the door ,with really strong double sided tape on the back ,and the rears had some sort of rubbery goop around the edges to seal and make them sit better in the std mounts.
So ,it begs the question...are they any good..i know for 24 bucks you cant really go wrong, but just wanted a general opinion and consensus on what the Eclipse speakers are like..??
