Hi guys

I drove the Magna the other day and drove quite quickly into a driveway, my Magna is very, very lowered and lets just say that driving into this driveway was excruciatingly uncomfortable.

Anyway, after checking the damage I've found the very lowest point of the front bumper has parted, its directly underneath the painted frontal part of the car but it is bolted directly to the bumper.

If this is still difficult to picture I will take a photo and upload it but I don't have one as of yet.

Anyway, as this part which is broken isn't actually the very front bumber, but a part which seems to bolt from the car to the bumper, can I just unbolt this broken part and take a similar part from a different Magna? How expensive would this part be (not much I would think, it just seems to be a bit of plastic)

Thanks for any answers tbhat can be given.

from wat i understand, ur talkin about the splash guard under the car? itsa big piece of black plastic?
if so then u can get a replacement from Mitsu. a TL splash guard fits and is cheaper too..

Just leave it, as your car is so low it will damaged again sooner or later.

Mine got killed last weekend too. :(
Luckily I could use the plastic 'bolt' to put it back into place, but I want a new one too. :P
Any idea on price Zeke?

Thats certainly a consideration, I'm surprised it lasted 2 years + whatever the previous owner did, its really that low. That being said the whole bottom of the front bumper feels weaker without it, I can move it with 2 fingers now (mind you I never tried it before the incident)

yYeah I think it's the splash guard, black/grey plastic just behind the front bumper or so. $40 seems reasonable, I cant help but feel that without the splash guard thefrontbumper is a bit weaker without it and another incident willl result in me losing the actual bumper.

Appreciated. I'll have a call around in a few days, see about getting another one.
Made a godawful sound when it scraped the road. :P Lucky I was just pulling out of carpark.
