hi guess on my dash when i'm at a set of lights sometimes the an oil light flashes on the dash bottom left conner. but when i take off it goes away??? every oil you can think of is full??? maybe the sensor is stuffed???
also sometimes after parking car the brake lights will stick on, but after i re touch it, it goes away???
should i just spray some wd40 on the under brake pedal???
any help would be great thanks guys!

Oh dear,it sounds like oil pressure.
How many K's has the engine done?

Just about WD40. Use the red can for mechanical, and use the Blue can for electrical. The red can might fix it straight away, but will promote rust later on. The blue can is 'electrical contact cleaner'.
I'll be clear, this is not advice for brake pedal problem, but advice on using CRC. But the blue can might fix it. It does sound like the switch. Best bet is get Mits to look if its a warranty job.

If the oil light is coming on and off I would have it towed to a dealer.

been driving just over 1 week like this. it wont do it everyday just when it wants to.
like when i pull up and stop and maybe i have seen it do it also when i have been driving.
at the end of the day it's under warranty :)
if i was to book it in and they don't find anything or it does not do it. will they find error codes on the computer?
has anyone else had this prob before?

Could just be a faulty oil pressure switch?

I think you mean the engine warning light?
(It is yellow and is top left hand corner)
If you get that one and youir oil light then you got big problems.

nope its not the yellow light....
the only time i see it flash on is when it's warmed up only sometimes but... things i have been monitoring is this...
1.) it only sometimes comes on when warmed up.
2.) as i pull up to stop, soon as the speed drops below 20kph it flashes once warmed up
3.) after the car has warmed up, moving from drive to neutral or any gear it flashes, NOT any of the tiptronic that's all fine wired.
so my guess it's something to do with gearbox??? your thoughts???
dropped car off today get it back 2mor arvo i bet they say we can't find anything lol or will they check the computer for fault codes etc?

lol and u have never got this fixed lol???
mitsi rang me today saying they want the car for other day wtf?
they asked me if the car sits there for a long period of time, i said no i drive it everyday etc and the battery was checked 2 weeks ago it's fine...
they said there was a voltage code error coming up so they are now eliminating things to find the problem.
who knows most likely a wiring issue?

Its just the globes for me so when I can be bothered I will change em
The same flashing happened before the - symbol went so its no big deal
At least mitsi are doing the checks TBH

got the car back today so far so good, they found some under voltage faults that were stored in history,
and changed the oil pressure switch as it was leaking a bit of oil from around it, maybe that was the problem all along?
will see next week when i drive it too and from work :)
