Hey guys, stupid question, I know.

But what's the safest way to get the steering wheel off?

I've got all of the bolts and screws out, but it just won't budge and I don't want to hit myself in the face.

My bad, was a lot easier when I moved the whole thing to it's lowest point.

Leave the main nut on but loose then shake jump and down on it realse all your angry on the wheel and will come loose :D

invest in a $15 steering wheel puller , much easier and safer

My way work and heaps more fun when you had a stressful day lol Also much cheaper plus heaps safe the nut won't let go when it flys off :)
