Hi Guys,

Yesterday Mums 91 TR Magna had overheated. We saw the temperature gauge go up and just before it got to the H line we pulled over and turned it off. Lucky a service station was near by and i got some coolant and we drove it home very slowly. I noticed that the drive pump belt to the waterpump was snapped, so i got another one and put it on. But now as soon as the car starts the radiator pressureises, is it a possiblilty the thermostat is stuck or is this sounding more like a cracked head?
Cheers For All The Help Guys In Advance

is there coolant in the oil ??? has the oil gone a whiteish sort of colour... possibility of head gasket, warped/cracked head... did you let it cool down before you put the coolant in ?

the 4 cyl doesn t like overheating

a blown head gasket is possible

you will have to have the head checked for refacing and cracks(pressure test)
